My Thoughts on the Sony E-Mail Hack

A note to all those condemning Amy Pascal, a woman I have never met who is in trouble for a movie I never had any interest in seeing…

However:

Everyone is so judgmental and pure of heart all of a sudden. No one has ever made a sarcastic crack,in private mocked someone with a friend and said something wrong just because they thought it was funny? Or shot their mouth off because they were just plain pissed off? REALLY! Who are you fooling? as they sing in Avenue Q “everyone’s a little bit racist”. And you can add smart as to that too . The mistake everyone at Sony made including and especially Amy Pascal was to ever assume that anything you ever send via email is private. There is no such thing as an inaccessible email. There probably isn’t a “genius” at the Apple Store who couldn’t easily uncover an embarrassing online paper trail on your laptop. I can look go back on my own computer for four years. Assuming confidentiality online Is just as naive and dumb as taking a nude selfie and expecting only your bf or gf will ever see it. You want to tell a secret or speak in private ? Try using the phone provided yours isn’t tapped. Or meet in person and actually have a conversation. How’s that for a novel idea? What Amy pascal did was foolish and human. And you have done it too
